Air Sports Watch joins Army Bass Anglers

January 5, 2011

Air Sports Watch Joins Forces with ArmyBassAnglers San Antonio, TX, August 1, 2010 – The mission statement behind ArmyBassAnglers (ABA) is “SUPPORT. DEFEND. FISH.” Air Sports Watch (ASW), “Improves your game and your life with ionic technology,” remarks Robert Schrepfer, President of ASW as he announces his support of ABA through a multi-year sponsorship. “The performance and success of ASW has been incredible in the last year, but one of the best parts is supporting ArmyBassAnglers & its Coalition of pro staff anglers”, says Robert Schrepfer, an avid supporter of the military including Tee It Up For The Troops. “For me this association holds a special place, because I know all the service people and their families make huge sacrifices so we can enjoy our freedom. I am proud to support such a great cause.” “ABA is doing such a fantastic job of getting our heroes out on the water for some much deserved fun and fishing, after their brave service. At the end of the day, if my Air Sports Watch can increase recovery time, improve flexibility and add something to their fishing experience, I’ll be extremely proud.” ABA consists of 12 pro staff anglers and 100 plus coalition pro staff anglers, from all branches of service, all of whom are active duty or retired U.S. military. The organization currently fishes Bass Champs on the World Fishing Network, Big Bass Battle on Versus, World Fishing Network and Time Warner along with numerous other grass roots events and charity events which have gained them national prominence as the Ceremonial Media Contact: Cody Roberson Armybassanglers_cody@yahoo.com Launch Boats for the past two Bassmasters Classics, and now for a 3rd consecutive year at the 2011 Bassmaster Classic, while raising National awareness for Returning Heroes Home, Heroes on the Water and Veteran Outdoors. The Warrior & Family Support Center, ABA’s original non-profit it supported, is a 12,000 square-foot rehabilitation center, funded solely by private donations and provides space for wounded soldiers undergoing treatment in San Antonio, allowing them to spend private time with their friends and families when they are not actively participating in rehabilitative treatment. Heroes on the Water is a National non-profit 501c3 that focuses its efforts on kayaking and fishing as a rehabilitative outdoor activity for wounded veterans recovering from their combat injures. HOW is an incredible alternative to power boat fishing and outdoor recreation that has provided very inspiring results both in physical and emotional rehabilitation. Veteran Outdoors is a non-profit 501c3 that completes the ArmyBassAngler’s Task Force of non-profits that provides big game one-of-a-kind hunting and fishing experiences for wounded veterans with some of the country’s most experienced pros and guides all focused on the wounded hero and his story. “We are extremely excited about Air Sports Watch joining forces with our organization. We are continually seeking one-of-a-kind companies to support our Mission and ASW fits that mold perfectly with their light weight, ionic sports watch. If you know anything about soldiers you know that tough is not a character trait it is a requirement and we are proud to join forces with a company and product as tough as the Air Sports Watch—HOOAH,” stated President Cody Roberson. “We look forward to a long—strong relationship with Air Sports Watch and putting this incredible product into the hands of America’s finest.” For more information about Air Sports Watch, visit http://www.airsportswatch.com or visit http://www.armybassanglers.com

Big Win for Jason Williamson On Clarks Hill

May 24, 2010

All the hard work finally paid off for Jason Williamson this past weekend on Clarks Hill Lake and the Bass Elite Series. He barely held on for the win with a 7 LB day on day 4, but his 19 LB day on day 3 won the tournament. That makes three Anglers in our region this year who have finally broken through on the Pro Side with Big Wins. Bryan Thrift, Andy Montgomery, and now Jason have all had solid careers through 2009, but their wins in 2010 have put them in new territory among their peers. John Crews also broke through earlier in the year plus a solid 2nd at another Elite Series Event for the best year of his young career. Bottom line is all these guys are young with their best fishing days ahead, as they are only going to get better. Good time to be following Professional bass fishing-the competition has never been better or brighter!! Congrat’s to Jason and hopefully we can speak with him in the next week or so-
